Another dream day. Less interesting

Something. Then older dreams part one

So I discussed how the best ideas one can conceive naturally have to come from within oneself. It works the same way good dreams appeal specifically to  the person dreaming them. To obtain one's absolute favorite story, or favorite song, one has to make it. A friend of mine had the rebuttal that the place that people get their ideas is from experiencing others' works. Which is true, though again, everyone is filtering all of this through their own "lens" of perception, and rearranging it as they see fit to make it best/most appealing to them.

(not all the time, but that's sort of what stories and music are, at least plenty of it. Rearranged things, ideas, melodies, that were heard before)

Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream...

Some ideas.

What if there were a religion of consumerism? The main holidays would be Black Friday, and Advent/Christmas. So basically it would be about the same as plenty religions because people feast and get together on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and everyone shops on/between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

(A friend of mine said Black Friday, then Boxing Day, then Valentine's would be the 3 biggest days)

What if someone made an advertisement that was the length of a music video, and looked something like it? So it would play pretty much during the whole break and would cost a lot of money, but I bet people would be more interested in watching it.

So I'm probably going to start drawing my "comics" instead. Here is one of the concepts because they won't be made until New Year's probably. 2 jokes, too.

An anthropomorphic heart goes up to a guy and says "you're under arrest". The next panel, he's on the ground.

Idk if my scanner works so I'm holding off on drawing the comic.

At an NRA meeting. A speaker goes up to the podium and says "if anyone wants to put their gun into storage, speak now or forever hold your piece".

I'm not sure if fo' sho' is short for "for short" or "for shore", but I like to think that people are being overly nautical.

I wonder if I should have another blog just for wordplay. It seems a lot of my material is just that.

Puns. I won't tag it as humor, hehe

So I make a fair amount of puns. I decided to start documenting them, or at least some of them. So here we go, first pun post.

I was at Christkindlmarket today. It's a mainly outdoor event, and it's cold here. So there's a warming tent, set up with a warm intent.

I was talking to a friend of mine, and she mentioned that she's sharing a German class with another friend of mine. I asked if a third friend of mine was also going to be in that class. (he's gay) She said "no, he couldn't fit it in". [to his schedule] I said "oh... that's unlike him".

When we were leaving the place, my gps had us make a lot of left turns. A friend of mine said it was "too much left". So I said "that's not a bad thing. That just means there's more for everyone else".

A few things I've considered.

What if sex offenders used the sex offender registry as a dating site?

What if there was a Dexter of sex offenders? [I guess he would be Sexter]
(for those of you unfamiliar with Dexter, he's a serial killer who kills serial killers)

So I visited a guy's house. He had a lot of blades. I thought to myself, that's sort of interesting.

Rough Draft

TL;DR on bottom.
Hey guys. My name is Eric Fitt. I am a person of above average intelligence. (anyone know where to get an iq test around Chicago?) I want to do something great. I want to write poetry/lyrics, books, songs. I want to sing. I want to draw, paint. I want to create art, music, maybe video games and/or films, and probably a few inventions too.

I don't want fame. I am kind of an introvert at heart, and would not take to it all that well. Though, I expect it will be unavoidable. I would love to be able to have enough money to live on without ever having had a standard job. Maybe even without getting a degree, to show, as other people have, that a piece of paper that costs $100,000+ and years of time is unnecessary if you know what you are doing. (I do want to go to school to learn to write better though)

If I get big, I would make businesses, both to provide services and make jobs. I have no love for money. I don't need yachts, huge houses, or superfluous money. What I would do with any money over, say, 5 million, (for unexpected costs, for giving to friends) is fund projects of my own or of others, or just donate to random charities or put disadvantaged people through school or whatever.

I want to succeed to show others what they can do, if they started working on their dreams. I've wasted plenty of time, myself. It's never too late to change, and become someone that you can be proud to be.

TL;DR
More than anything, I want to make memories. I want to inspire people to be great. (Especially to create their own works to inspire still more people) I want to instill beauty in the minds of as many people as I can, by creating worlds and evoking emotions through my works. I ask for nothing in return, other than telling people about me, if I affected you.

About Me:
You knew my type in high school. Quiet in general, maybe did some crazy and hilarious things once in a while. Wouldn't know what to say to you if you started a random conversation, but once you knew him, proved to have some depth and humor not seen otherwise.

What I would do with money gained from ads

First, I would probably spend a bit of it on living expenses. Gas, food, that sort of thing. Then I would spend some on getting a website of my own to start my comic (I may start it on here though) and transfer this blog there. Then I would use some to move out/pay for school. Then I would spend on some frivolous things, and hopefully could use it to live on entirely, producing art, music, and writing full time. I would start trying to make the inventions I have conceived. I would start a few businesses, one of which would be a restaurant using recipes that I have learned from various sources.

Start of movie reviews. Sorted from least to most liked.

I am largely ignorant of movies. So I've started watching ones mentioned in various places. From Natalie Dee, I found out about the existence of Drop Dead Fred. From a friend of mine, I heard about the Karate Kid again. From somewhere on the internet, I heard about Fate Stay/Night, and I read the visual novel, which I liked. I found the Unlimited Blade Works movie on 4chan's /tor/.  Lastly, for this batch of reviews, from utorrent, I found out about Four Eyed Monsters.

Music.

Here, I will list bands that I think are great. (first songs to listen to in parentheses) There will be a list by what I think would be pretty general tastes, (liked by almost everyone, at least almost everyone I know) then a list by my tastes that I am less sure that just anyone would like. I will update this post as I listen to other bands, and make note of it in my next blog post.

I have an idea.

Whenever the number of followers on my blog adds another zero, I will give away 1 percent of my total earnings from this/related endeavors to a random lucky follower. If the number gets above 100,000 or something ridiculous, I may just make it more often. That will be determined later.

When I came up with the 1% tag, it was with a certain thought in mind. I would share the ideas that I was not quite intending to make a reality, or those that would be a while before I did do that. Anyone would be free to use the idea, so long as they gave me 1% of their earnings from the idea. I'd think that's a good deal. Maybe I should make it 2%.

What I want to do

Through experiences, I have recently come some conclusions. One of which is that each person has unique interests. From this, I inferred there is only a single way one can experience a story or work of art that would fully appeal to his or her tastes. The way to do this, of course, is to create as much as one can. One could write stories, create art, and write music that would appeal to him or her in ways that could not be appreciated by most others. This also creates something that may live on for some time after other memories of the person have.

A story can easily influence many people to do something in the future. It could result in someone writing his or her own stories, doing something mentioned in the story, or could just be a source of inspiration and imagination for someone who enjoyed it. I wish to learn to write better than I do, and create what can be created with my imagination.

It seems that the best method of creating something of quality in this vein would be to have many experiences. With my education, I also hope to gain valuable insights and ideas from my work, as well as encounter a wide variety of people. For, after all, human contact is one of the reasons everyone does not simply learn from books.

I am hoping to provide a valuable and enriching addition to any environment that I am in, and my education is a step toward doing just that.

Heroes of Newerth

Here's a list of some mods and a guide of somewhat advanced tips for this game.

Yes, it's a niche thing.

So. A beginning.

To start, I will iterate the purposes of this blog.

One. I'm going to try to share some interesting thoughts, in various categories.

Two. I will be writing short reviews of things I have read or watched. This is not a priority.

Three. At some point, probably soon, I will update daily. The daily post will be pertaining to something I have learned that day, and a new word I have learned. The point of this is for others to learn something new every day, unless they already know it. (I've decided to make a separate blog for this, instead)

Four. Lastly, I am planning to make some money on the side from the advertisements on here. So click on them if you're interested in the thing. Adsense does not register clicks on ads that last less than 20-25 seconds, or so this person says. I've also heard that the first few ads are worth more, because the advertisers pay more for the better ad spots]
