Of course I always thought "a blog should be interesting" and like the idea of saying little, but always being profound over speaking constantly and drowning out those "best" thoughts.
I don't know if I ever saw this as something for me.
I wanted it to serve a purpose of entertainment, either through amusement or interesting things, rather than just be a diary.
So I put off posting, maybe a little daunted.
I think I'll go for weekly puns or jokes I encounter/come up with,
though I'll try for creating daily anyway.
If I look at my old posts on here even, some things seem ignorant, solipsistic (though that's kind of what blogs are for), etc.
I see myself differently than I did then, but I'd like to avoid looking back on current or future posts and thinking the same.
I suppose it's a matter of being better informed.
The writing style should always look worse in retrospect.
I'll try for long-winded being my only big flaw in writing from now.
At least I'll continue to write something like David Foster Wallace that way.
(SO MANY FOOTNOTES AND ASIDES IN HIS WORK)
tl;dr
Similar to most people, I often want to do more than I do.
On my part, I'm just lazy.
I could phrase it in a way that puts less blame on me, but I'd rather not.
I don't want to make promises I might not keep, because I've already broken many by putting them off.
So I'll refrain from saying what I'd like or like to do unless I'm sure I will not do/show it,
and I won't say anything until I've been doing it for awhile.
But soon.
Don't like light on black?
Don't like light on black?
Change page style to black on white.
Refresh to change back.
Mostly thoughts from a time before I began to change myself.
But I'm changing that.

I don't know what to write here, often.
It means I'm not doing enough to improve.
Watching all of Firefly might be the most significant thing I've done this week.
I've come up with ideas, and this blog is for some of them, but more for resources and progress reports on my end, I guess.
Musing:
I'd like to make a software/programming company.
I will teach myself computer science, I guess. It seems essential for future, and I'd like to make some tech stuff.
Business/invention ideas are just application of thinking of how to do things better.
It's nice to live efficiently, I guess.
It'd be nice to have a book on living efficiently!
Maybe I can learn enough to write one sometime.
I suppose that's just extraction of various improvement techniques. It seems everyone has to make their own synthesis of ideas.
Is another book a viable idea/is there a good one on this topic yet?
I'm thinking once a month posts will be the minimum. I wanted to post more often for the sake of spurring myself toward progress, but I pushed the blog to the back of my head.
Maybe I have to make sure I don't think of it as work/motivation.
Today, I thought of vacuum coffee extraction, and figured it's an essential thing if one drinks a lot of coffee.
I also considered doing an amazon associates thing.
Signed up for it. Funny enough, my id on the site has crea8 in it.
I will definitely do something of substance and update before year's end, at least.
Music for sure.
Goal is to finish 1-3 songs by Christmas, I suppose.
I could make more frequent posts, since I write a lot to myself, but it's a matter of extracting what to post.
Maybe I'll just make the most "interesting" stuff on top, and the rest under colors and cuts.
There's nothing after the cut, I just wanted to be artsy

Will begin to use this once more.
I might change the title though.
I'm going to use this to track the course of my amelioration of my life, essentially.
What I intend to do is to provide something of an example/motivation for others to improve myself as I do so.
A sort of "if I can do it, you can too!"
As well as providing the resources I use to do so.
To begin with, I am probably going to read and implement what I can of
http://theprometheanman.blogspot.com/
and
Lifehacker.
Goals:
I haven't yet decided on daily posts or weekly posts.
I have considered the idea of moving to Kansas City so as to avail myself of google fiber, so that I could take and upload videos of my entire day, minus sleep, or anything lewd, I suppose.
Dunno if I will do that, but I will certainly consider it a lot.

Goals:
- I will be learning DIY near-everything.
- I will be making myself as healthy as possible.
- I will be making music, (https://soundcloud.com/thewyrdrem) and trying to pursue other creative endeavors when possible (writing, and maybe later drawing, video-making).
- I will be trying to make maximum use of my resources (saving money/time/ ??? ).
- I will be trying to make money, to further my interests of
- Establishing the amount necessary to live in a manner consistent with what I believe should be the minimum quality of life for everyone.
- Using profit above this to establish means of improving the quality of the lives of others.
However, there is a fair possibility that I will stop actively trying to make more money/pursue this course in favor of fully devoting myself to more artistic pursuits.
My goal here is to do something that helps other people, but I hope that I will be able to make them feel emotions through art more than I desire the monetary side of things.
I have no idea which would take priority in the long run... I am thinking delegation/partnership would help/be available by the time at which I cannot focus on both or must temporarily focus on one.

[tl;dr If current things bore you, try making something that interests you.]
In HS Philosophy our teacher had posed a question: is it better to be a fool satisfied or Socrates dissatisfied?
[I looked this up online just now and apparently Mill had said that "it is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied".]
At the time, I analysed it, I figured Socrates is better off, because I valued my intellect.
After some time, [of I suppose an amount of getting over the most oppressive of the realities of the world]
I came to think that the fool had it best, that ignorance is bliss.
I might assert that ignorance is indeed bliss. But I do not think that it is the best path. After some time I came to think about the nature of dissatisfaction. I came to reason that there should be things that I can change, or things I can make.

so I kinda started this with the hopes of making enough money to not have to work/to share awesome things.
The only problem is that once I lost interest in trying to get more people to read it,
I noticed that I wanted this to be much greater than it is, and so I kind of wanted to stop with it until either I could make it better or I'd accept it as just a medium for my sorta thoughts.
